The Vein and Laser Center of Elgin Cardiac Surgery is one of the premier vein clinics in the Chicagoland suburbs and is proud to offer EVLT®, the leading laser treatment for varicose veins. We also offer microphlebectomy and sclerotherapy as an effective treatment for all types of venous disorders.
There are many physicians that have begun to offer these services. However, treatments at the Vein and Laser Center of Elgin Cardiac Surgery are performed by a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon. Working with us is a registered vascular ultrasound technologist, a certified surgical assistant, and an ACLS certified registered nurse. We are members of the American College of Phlebology. This makes the Vein and Laser Center of Elgin Cardiac Surgery qualified to treat all venous disorders from spider veins to severe leg ulcers.
Procedures such as endovenous laser ablation (EVLA), microphlebectomy and sclerotherapy are all effective treatment options that we specialize in at the Vein and Laser Center of Elgin Cardiac Surgery. These treatments are all low risk, performed under local anesthesia and have minimal associated recovery time. Most cases are fully covered by insurance (including Medicare).
We are located in Elgin minutes from ( I- 90 ) the Northwest Tollway in the Doctors Building at Sherman Hospital. We are easily accessible to all Chicagoland suburbs.
